Don & Mike Golf Outing 2025
What started as a small gathering has grown into something pretty special. We spent four days in the mountains, surrounded by unbelievable views and even better company.
From a near hole-in-one to shanks deep in the woods, the golf was everything we hoped for and then some. But more than that, it was the time together. Guys from different walks of life and different eras came to share stories, laugh hard, and make memories that will stick.
Thank you to everyone who made it what it was. Already looking forward to next year.
2025 overall champion
Alden Kuusinen Goes Wire to Wire to Win It All
In a stacked field, Alden Kuusinen came out firing with a lights-out 62 at Sequoyah National and clung to the lead all the way through. With help from strong teammates each round, he posted a string of 64s at Smoky Mountain, Reems Creek, and Maggie Valley.
But it wasn’t a runaway. It came down to the final day. Landon was charging hard—right on his heels—until a pair of late bogeys from his group sealed it. Alden held on by a single stroke to take the title.
“I just tried to keep it in play and let my teams carry me,” Alden said. “Also, I didn't realize I was leading until someone told me at lunch.”
Landon was gracious in defeat: “If my team and I knew how to two-putt, we’re not having this conversation.”
Either way, Alden is your 2025 Don & Mike Golf Outing Overall Champion.
