Don & Mike Golf Outing 2026

Welcome back to the 27th Annual Don & Mike Golf Outing, returning to the Outer Banks by popular demand. This year, we’re mixing it up with a fun 40-man Ryder Cup format, captained by the younger versions of Don and Mike. Fun teams, match play, bragging rights, and plenty of side action all week. This trip has never been about how good you are at golf. It’s about getting everyone back together, playing a lot of golf, talking a lot of trash, and picking up right where we left off last year. Show up ready to have fun, see old friends, meet a few new ones, and enjoy another Don &Mike classic.

🏨 Accommodations

 The Golf Village Cottages at Kilmarlic

  • Shared cottages (4 golfers per cottage standard (6 beds)
  • Available for 4 or 5 nights (Apr 29–May 2 or 3)

⛳ Golf Course Lineup

  •  The Carolina Club — Tree-lined layout with a traditional Carolina feel and a strong finishing stretch.
  • The Currituck Club — Rees Jones design with wide fairways and sound views.
  • Nags Head Golf Links — True Scottish-style links golf with windswept dunes.
  • Kilmarlic Golf Club — Championship-quality golf and scenic coastal terrain.

2v2 Scramble Matches

  • Front 9 = 1 point 
  • Back 9 = 1 point

  • Team Don – Blue Shirts 

Post Round:

  • Day 2 pairings set at the clubhouse

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

  • BBQ Dinner (included in package) 
  • No additional cost

Start at 8:26 AM (every 8 minutes)

Format:
2v2 Scramble Matches

  • Front 9 = 1 point 
  • Back 9 = 1 point 
  • Overall = 1 point 

Dress Code:

  • Wear whatever you want

Post Round:

  • Final day pairings set

Putting Contest:

  • Starts at 7:30 AM 
  • Bonus points/advantages on the line

🏆 Post Round

  • Awards Ceremony at the clubhouse 
  • Ryder Cup Champion crowned

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM (for those leaving) 
  • Monday: 10:00 AM (for those staying an extra night)
